RESEARCH  TEAM  FROM  HPCD  WON  2  AWARDS  FROM  NRCT

“Small Axial Flow Hydro Turbine-Generator for Mae Chang Dam” won 2 awards from The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) in “The 2007 Inventors’ Day.”  It not only won the Invention Award (Engineering and Industrial Research) from H.E. Deputy Prime Minister but also the Inventor Award (Engineering and Industrial Research) from H.E. Minister of Office of the Prime Minister. Mr. Pramote Chamamahattana was a representative to receive a certificate and a trophy on February 2^nd and 5^th, 2008 respectively.

The small axial flow hydro turbine-generator for Mae Chang Dam  is one of the invention form the cooperation between  Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) by Hydro Power Construction Division (HPCD) and The Joint Graduated School of Energy and Environment of King Mongkut’s  University of Technology Thonburi.
