Since 1997 HPCD has received the ISO 9002:1994 world-standard quality certification for the installation and renovation of hydro power plant. Later, HPCD has expanded the scope of certification to civil works and electro-mechanical maintenance work of hydro power plant in 1999 and 2002 respectively. Furthermore, the upgrading quality system to be ISO 9000 certified by the accredited bureau, RWTUV (later changed to TUV NORD) has been done successfully which marks another bold guarantee to the quality of work and worldwide recognition.
